City Roots is a local plant business owned and operated by Nicole Stockdale. Nicole began casually collecting houseplants 5 years ago and never looked back. Without realizing it, she had a natural green thumb and enjoyed adding character and colour to her Toronto apartment.

One plant turned into two, then three. Before she knew it, she had collected over 25 plants. Nicole enjoys the maintenance of houseplants and finds peace and calm while caring for them.

Nicole believes that everyone can develop a green thumb and all spaces can benefit with the addition of plants. Whether you are a plant newbie, or have a green thumb, there is a plant for you!
